Angela Schrempf - Founder of Sweet Occasions Bridal Consulting. Angela Schrempf is the Founder and Executive Wedding Planner of Sweet Occasions Bridal Consulting as well as Powder Brides by Sweet Occasions.

Angela Schrempf was born in Toronto Ontario. Her mother Brenda Schrempf was a successful business woman in Acton, ON and helped Angela grow into the successful business woman she is today. Angela acknowledges her mother’s influence stating that “My mother was my mentor and still is. She is a very kind and an intelligent woman and I aspire to be like her in so many ways.”

Schrempf began her career in the busy industry of corporate event planning in Toronto Ontario after studying Project Management at Seneca at York University. In her first years as an event planner Angela handled many large events of over 2000 in attendance as well as countless more intimate celebrations. Working for companies such as The Bay, Indigo, Lavalife, Bell Canada, Cannon, itravel2000, and Alaskan Airlines, Angela quickly gained a blooming reputation in the big city.

After gaining the necessary business & event management skills from her home of Toronto, Schrempf moved to the beautiful Alberta Rockies and made a home in Canmore AB. Angela went on to found Sweet Occasions Bridal Consulting in Banff, AB, a full service wedding planning company known for “attention to detail and the exquisite elegance of her events” a local Banff vendor comments. Schrempf’s wedding design has been featured in many esteemed industry publications such as WeddingBells, Bridal Fantasy, Calgary Bride and many more. Sweet Occasions is currently based out of their exquisite corporate office in the heart of Banff at 105 Falcon St.

Recently Schrempf launched Sweet Occasions Wedding & Event Rentals, “My love of design and the way in which I can create such beautiful events which have a profound effect on my client’s happiness have inspired me to create Sweet Occasions Wedding & Event Rentals.” Schrempf says. Schrempf is a self confident and energetic businesswoman that has made herself known across the country. Angela is also much more than just a business woman. Volunteering at Rocky Mountain Animal Rescue in her spare time Angela loves animals. A mother to rescued puppy Kaliber, Angela loves not only animals but children as well. Now a figure skating coach in Banff, AB, Angela was once a competitive figure skater in Toronto Ontario. “I love to teach, I love children and I love to skate, so becoming a figure skating coach was a very easy decision to make.” Angela states. Active in her spare time, Angela and fiancé Brad enjoy snowboarding, mountain biking and hiking together.
