Emerald Lake Lodge Wedding
Celebration is a common theme in Terri & Jeremy`s romance and celebrate in style they do! Terri & Jeremy met at a celebration party through mutual friends, little did they know that this party was also celebrating the meeting of their soul mates. After three years of dating Terri & Jeremy purchased their first home together. After a long day of moving and chaos the couple finally had everything in. They were so excited, laughing and goofing around, Terri went to open some champagne to celebrate their new home and when she turned around, amongst piles of clothes, furniture and boxes, Jeremy was down on one knee! Terri said ``Yes!`` and that is when the planning of their big day began!
Terri planned a wonderful wedding on the beaches of Mexico for the summer of 2009, however, when the H1N1 scare surfaced; plans for a beach wedding in the country of its origin were unfortunately cancelled. That is when Terri sought the help of Professional Executive Wedding Planner Angela Schrempf with Sweet Occasions Bridal Consulting. With less than 2 months to plan their large wedding at Emerald Lake Lodge, Terri needed a little help and a wedding planner sure did come in handy!
With teal as the color choice for their big day, a peacock theme was decided. Peacock feathers decorated beautiful Cilantro on the Lake at Emerald Lake Lodge on November 12th 2009 while snow decorated the landscape outside. Guest tables nestled cozy by a roaring fire were done up in sparkling chocolate organza overlays topped with silver chargers, river rock with frosted votives in amongst the natural decor, and napkins embellished with peacock feather. A cupcake cake was center of attention come desert, with peacock themed delights topping each marble cupcake. Greenery also decorated the room and the tall Eifel Tower centerpieces exploded with bears grass, cascading dendrobium orchid, and peacock feathers.
Now happily living together in their new home, Terri & Jeremy wedding day is not a day they will soon forget!
